They sell grit to put in paint.ask at a home improvement store if it can be used in driveway sealer. I have never heard of anyone sprinkling sand on a wet driveway after it has been sealed, but if you want non-slip, it might be an option, all though one I wouldn't want.

Look for a seal coating with sand in the mix. Sand suspended in the coating will lay atop the dried coating and provide you with a less slippery surface.
