It depends on what kind of paint! Try scrubbing it good with Mean Green or something like that, should get it up!
YOu cut out that chunck of hthe carpet. bleach it. use the color of the carpet and use marker to draw on it (crayola works best. ) THen glue stick it back where it was. ! If that glue doesnt work try SUPER glue.

there is a product called "Gunk" that you get at the hardware store. It will remove paint from anything and will not damage your carpet. However, since there are many different types of carpet, use a small portion of it on an out of the corner to make absolutely sure.
