Flagstone and saltwater?

Question:I just had a in-ground pool built with flagstone coping and a saltwater chlorination system. Now I'm finding out that flagstone and saltwater don't mix too well (depending on the type of flagstone). How can I protect my investment? Should I use something like Coronado Paint Final Finish clear to seal it? Do I really need to worry a lot about mixing salt and flagstone? Am I toast?

Answers:
Did you insist on the stone? Or, did they offer it as a choice? If they offered it, call them with your concerns. I can't imagine the saltwater being a problem, other than bleaching out the color a little.
