Small air bubbles are coming out of my pool filter. Why?

Question:The pressure seems fine, but there are hundreds of small air bubbles flowing out into the pool from the two jets every second. Please help or suggest -

Answers:
Sounds like you have a leak on the intake side of the pump. Basically, it's pulling in air with the recircualtion water. The first thing is check the o-ring on the strainer basket cleanout (located on top of the pump). Make sure it is tight and the gasket is in good condition.

After that, start checking in pumps intake piping that is above ground. I'm sure you will find something.

Check the stuff you mess with first. Valves, cleanout baskets, etc.

It's pooting.
you have air trapped that is finding it's way out. You might have a water leak, but, it is doubtful. Just watch the water level for a couple days.
