Best Padlock for Apartment?

Question:I've just bought a new apartment and will be shifting in soon. Meanwhile, it's not occupied now and I'd like to make sure it's not broken in.

What is the best padlock to be used for apartment?

I've heard that a good choice is a padlock that operates with rotating discs instead of pin tumblers, like Abloy, Abus, Solex (made in Thailand padlock that looks like Abloy).

What's your opinion on a good padlock? Any recommended brands?

Answers:
Abus disk is an excellent padlock. I've had to remove several for people who lost their keys, and they were tough.

Bear in mind that a padlock is only as strong as the hasp it is fastened to. Don't waste your money on a junk hasp for a good lock. The bad guys will attack and defeat the hasp, which is the point of least resistance

I use Master And Schlage.
