I have grout in a shower that I need to "sand down" and re-do.?

Question:I have grout in a shower that I need to "sand down" and re-do. The main problem is that it cracked (hairline cracks), then I went over it with more grout, but I GOT THE COLOR WRONG! What do I do? Is it possible to just sand down the surface, thereby restoring the color and getting below the crack?

Answers:
Go to any home improvement/hardware store aand buy a "Grout saw". The name sounds more impressive that it really is. Just a blade on the end of a handle. Use grout saw to "sand" to grout as deep as youd like. The regrout. Using a grout saw is very tedious but it does work.

Hope this Helps

Dave

Faster way is a Dremel and a thin abrasive wheel tool on the end. Be careful not to damage the tile though...
i agree with the first to answers as well
