Door Lock?

Question:im looking for a lock for a bedroom door, basically the same size as a normal non locking handle?...

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Been looking all over Goog and can't find anything.

(i don't really want to be drilling/chiseling)

Answers:
All the modern locks use basicly the same size holes. 2 1/8" through the door and 1" into the edge. The backset for the larger hole is pretty much standard as well. 2 3/8 for residential fixtures and 2 3/4 for commercial sets. Most now are 'convertable' meaning they can be switched from residential backset to commercial backset easily. Look for a bedroom/bathroom knobset in the color you want at the local home improvment store. They can guide you as to what will fit your needs!

go to a hardware store...they have all kinds.
The term for this is a privacy handle set. They sell a wide variety at all home centers.
