How do i repair an old mirror that is missing silver on the back?

Question:the mirror is a top to a vintage table. Can i use a resilvering kit and where do i find one?

Answers:
Also, and maybe easier you can put a new mirror behind the old one and that may be easier.

Call a glass place. they ususally will re silver for you.
Or an antique dealer who may have used a similiar service. Or, you may find it more cost effective to have a new mirror cut for it or buy one if you can fit the size at a discount store and use it.
spray silver pant 2-3 Tim's and it will be OK.
Silver is more reflective than most other paints. You can buy it at an art store.
If the table is valuable, don't touch it. If you just don't like the look, take off the original one and replace with new. If you ever want to sell the table, put the old back on.
