How much would someone charge to install a built in dishwasher?

Question:

Answers:
your best bet is to ask around with friends / family to see if anyone knows a plumber because if you call someone to come do it it's going to be around $60.00 just to come out and then so much for labor..
My husband is a plumber and he does stuff on the side all the time for under half of what he'd charge if he was on the clock.

$75 (just to replace existing one) plus some extras like travel time, carting off old unit, etc
Since it is mostly labor, it would depend on local labor rates. Takes about 3 hours. Parts include a valve and connection to the hot water supply line. Electrical wiring if it needs to be hardwired. Water supply tubing (usually copper) and a dishwasher tee that goes into the sink drainline. Probably looking at a couple hundred dollars.
Sears charges $140 including delivery & take away, with a new waterline. For standard installation.Thats tough to beat. These are Los Angeles prices, may be different elsewhere but Sears is reasonable
