Are rubber roofs really worth it on a flat deck house?

Question:I put a rubber roof on a flat deck. Under the rubber I placed some sort of brown 1" thick matting. Leaks developed soon after so I put another layer of rubber over the roof. It still leaks. The seams look tight, I cant figure out where the water is getting thru unless it slowly makes its way thru the rubber itself which is like 1/4" thick

Answers:
i did allot of rubber roofing, if it is totally flat the water is ponding up where it is low and running into a seem or backing up into the siding on your house so have another look. if the roof is not totally adhered remove 1 layer and add tapered insulation, you can buy it tapered from nothing up to 2 inches thick. now your roof will have a slight slope to it and the water will run right off. if you have more questions or require more details plz feel free to email me k.... l8r and good luck
