What is the best way to refinish a refrigerator door?

Most fridge doors are removable. I would take door off, use anti-rust solution on rust spots - the kind of stuff you get in car repair stores, mask around any chrome or areas not to be painted and after a clean down with fine abrasive paper and solvent wipe, repaint with a can of aerosol you can buy for touching up cars.

NC Paint spray(the same method of refinishing a car) do not try aerosol.go in for conventional spray. Your car spray painter is the best help

sand it down to rough it up, you dont need to remove all the paint. it will probably take two cans of RUSTOLEUM, this is not a car.
