Water pipes under house make a loud humming sound, what's wrong?

Question:

Answers:
They do that because they don't know the words.

They are clogged, or more accurately, they have a lot of build-up in them and can't handle the pressure of the water going through them because of it. So they vibrate as the water tries to flow through them.

Sounds like your pipes are loose
Most likely air in the feeds. You may have to have a Plumber come and 'bleed' those pipes.
It is air trapped in the pipeline, if you are referring to city water supply line. Try to release the trapped air at the topmost point in the piping network.
You may have air in your system. Air will cause your pipes to rattle, moan and groan. Open all the taps and run the water for 10 minutes or so.
They also make a vibration eliminator you can install in the water line that will solve this problem. If you can do the plumbing yourself it is very inexpensive to do or call a plumber and have it done for you it should not cost all that much.
