Can I get a grease stain from a fast food bag off of my seat in my car?
Question:Does anybody know a remedy to get a grease stain out of my cloth seat in my car? It has been there for about 5 months, and I have tried a few different cleaners, but nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know of any home remedies, or old remedies to use for grease stains?

Items:
Hot Water
Toothbrush
Dishwashing Soap
Washcloth
Dip Toothbrush in Hot water, then put a little dishwashing liquid on the toothbrush. In small (very small to avoid too much suds) in circular motions, start scrubbing on stain. After the suds are soaked into the cloth, dip the washcloth in hot water, drain it so its not sopping, and roughly wipe away the suds.
When it dries it will be gone.
I promise.
It works on canvas, velour, vinyl, jeans, cotton, etc...
Many dealerships use a product called Brake Kleen (Aeresol brake cleaner) to remove automotive grease from carpets and upholstery. It basically dissolves the grease and you can then blot it up.
As with most stains the quicker you address the better. Try on a small inconspicuous section before using on the entire stain.
You should be able to purchase at Walmart or any auto supply store.

Some people say leaving corn starch on the stain over night works with a follow up scrubbing with dish soap.

Try a little dish soap, it's made to cut grease. I would suggest you mix a little dish soap and water and use a rag or sponge to wipe at the spot, then use paper towels to blot it up.
