Inground sprinkler heads getting stuck - how can I fix this?

Question:Some of my inground sprinkler heads get stuck while rotating. To clarify, they are coming out of the ground fine, but while watering some of them randomly get fixed in one position until I go fix them.

Anybody have any remedies for this? Thanks guys!

Answers:
spray all your heads with with Tri-Flow. you can get it at any hardware store. It's like wd40 no water though. It is a teflon base lube. Shake it well and just a little bit will do ya. once a month you'll get years out of them. Promise

They are probably of an age to replace. They only last 5 to 10 years if you start with good ones, not cheap ones.
The sprinkler system I have has both pop-ups and rotators and I have had this problems with all of them.

What I have had to do is once a year(preferably the beginning of growing/watering season) is to go and open up each individual unit in a zone, (pulling away any grass, dirt or other covering plants) and flush the zone for about 5 seconds. Then inspect the individual inserts for debris causing the lack of rotation or the lack of the heads popping up.

Once I started doing this (advice from my dad) I have had no issues since.
