How do you take an old toilet seat off?

Question:my old toilet seat has rusty bolts holding it on, I've tried wrenches, pliers, wd-40 they just wont budge. there's not enough room to wedge a hack saw blade in and I'm afraid if i use a dremel i might break the bowl. any ideas would be appreciated.

Answers:
I place the blade only from a hack saw between the toilet and the under part of the seat bolt and saw them off. Be sure to place a rag under the blade so as not to scratch the toilet

use your dremel with a cut off wheel. I don't see how you would break the bowl that way.
I had the same problem. I used naval jelly (get at the hardware store usually in the paint dept) to remove the rust. I used a paint brush to brush the naval jelly on the rusty bolt and was able to remove the nuts after the rust was removed. Hope this helps.
use the dremmel to cut the corroded nut on either side...then it will fall off and the bolt will just slip out...
Carbolic Acid,Hydrochloric Acid, or Sulphuric. other than that, try painting on Battery Acid ,itll take a while but should do the job cheaply.....
