Caravan needed to hire whilst flood damage to home is repaired will take months?

Answers:
The problem you have is that if you site a caravan in any other place than on the land on which your house sits, you will need planning permission. The ideal situation therefore is to buy an old second hand static (they are not as dear as you might think) and put it in the garden if that is possible. If you hire a van on a holiday site you will probably find that it closes down for the winter which is no good to you and residential sites are extrememly expensive if you can even find one, and you would have to buy.

sorry hun i cant help .so sorry about the damage to your homes i do feel for you good luck with your search and hoping you can return home soon ..
Does your insurance company have some information they can supply you with,
if you lookin your local directory of caravan sales second hand you may pick a cheap one up ,could be cheaper than hiring one they could probly site it for you too if get right company good luck with your clean up
I worked on a flood damaged village and the insurance companys gave them all static caravans to live in while the work was carried out
Also it is more than likely to be 8-10 months if you have suffered 4 foot+ flooding.
Good luck, hope it doesn't get too stressful for you
