Help Please with a Haier mini fridge freezer door spring.?
Question:Hello, I have one of those compact/mini refrigerators~made by Haier~and somehow I hit the little freezer door and knocked the spring off that keeps the freezer door shut tight. Does anybody know how that crazy little spring re-attaches?? I've tried every way I can see that it might work, but it just won't stay there. There is a small hole on the freezer itself, and another on the door-in front of the pin that holds the door on...but it just doesn't seem to go in those?? The "spring" has two different wires, coming out of both ends of the twist of wire and both have a slight hook to the ends of them. If anybody has one of these, I would sure appreciate it if you could try to describe to me how it goes back on:) The freezer keeps dripping since it is defrosting because the door won't stay closed tight~
Thank VERY Much!

I've worked on fridges it sounds the same. If you can take off the hinge you put the spring in the hinge and in the door where you said the holes are (hooks in holes) before putting back on the hinge twist the spring opposite to the way the door closes reattach the hinge and i hope this works. watch your fingers in case the spring slips
weld it
Go to a store that sells that fridge and look at how they have
theirs put together.
Call refrigeration mechanic to fix it for you&don`t attempt
yourself.Improper tools and lack of experience may cause
any untowards problem.
you cant fick's it its broken for life.
