Wow, some of the answers are pretty lame, and one just wants you to waste time at his website. This is a site to post answers to questions. If you don't have the answer then move on.
Ok, off the soap box - see the answer above that talks about the failed automatic defrost system. The symptoms you describe are classic for a failed auto defrost system. Their are three components in the system: timer, heater, and limit thermostat. Most newer refs have an electronic defrost control. Some cheaper models and older have a mechanical defrost control. All have some type of heater that comes on and heats up the area where the evaporator is located (usually behind the back wall of the freezer compartment). When the defrost timer advances to the point where the defrost cycle comes on, the heater heats, the frost melts, and after 20 minutes or so the refrigerator turns back on. You can confirm the freezer is not defrosting by looking at the back wall of the freezer compartment and see if a layer of frost has built up the wall. That is a tell tale sign the defrost system is not working and causing your problem. However unless you have the capability to diagnose the part that has failed time to call a technician.
Perhaps it is broken.

The most common problem is with the automatic defrost system- the freezer usually fails to defrost & the resulting build-up of frost causes lack of air-flow to the ref. section.
I recommend you call an Appliance Technician.
Vaccum the back of frige it might be dusty or you might need more freeon if thats not it go buy a new one this one might be going if its old
I had this happen once. Check your vent in your freezer. I had a frozen stringbean caught in mine :(
Good Luck!
