How long of a vacuum hose would I need for a 24' pool?

Question:Just bought a home with a pool - had the vacuum brush, but no hose came with it. How long of hose should I need?

Answers:
It depends where you put your filter, and if it's an oval-shaped pool or a round one. If it's a round one, you will need one a bit longer than 24 feet, because the hose goes from the port near the surface to the opposite side at the bottom, and has to bend to fit onto the brush. A 30' hose would be long enough.

If it's an oval-shaped pool, chances are it's 12 or 15 feet wide. If you have the filter on the middle of one side, then a 24' hose would be long enough. If you have the filter at the end, or close to it, you'll need up to a 32' hose.

Hose comes in 25' sections. The length needed depends on where your vacuum port is located. I suggest buying one...if that's not long enough, go buy another.
dude did you seriosly just say the length of the pool and ask how long of a hose you need comon sence says at leest 24 so i would go a bit bigger with about 28.
