I bought a new vacuum cleaner the other day, and I'm very pleased with it. How boring is that?

Depends on the vacuum cleaner. Samsung do one that's the size of a galvanised dustbin with 3x1KW motors on the top. Now THAT's a vacuum cleaner.

Just as sad as when you get a new bed that your husband wanted but he never sleeps in it really (2 nights a week). Yes he is in the house but he passes out in front of the TV every night after work. I dont have the heart to wake him up after a 10 hour day in the Arizona Heat. That and he looks so cute.
I know exactly how you feel as I suddenly became aware that my best friend and I were discussing what features we like on our new washing machines - there must be more to life than a faster spin speed and whether or not you have a quick wash cycle.

Yeah, I can relate. At Thanksgiving a few years ago, my sister-in-law and I were talking about how nice the new carts at Farmer Jack grocery store were, and it was like a 5 minute conversation. We are easily amused in our old age, aren't we? I, too, get geeked about things like silicone bakeware and when Swiffers came out.it was like I just saw Prince walking down the street or something!
I bought one the other day to and I'm not real thrilled with it. It has three filters in it and they have to be cleaned ever time I use it.
