Who do you call to come and remove moss from a roof?
Question:i am looking through the yellow pages but dont know where 2 start.
Answers:
A professional roofer will come and inspect your tiles and advise on the moss growth on the roof. It may not be in the best interests of the tiles to remove it but he will know. Get a recommended and trade endorsed professional. Ask around neighbours in the street for a good roofer, you'll be surprised how many people will have made use of one in the past. Once you find a good one,ask his advice,he may want to come round and view the problem but that should be free and not charged for, get several roofers in to evaluate and advise. If you are unsure of which one to trust then you can weigh up the answers of each before deciding which to employ but do check up on a potential roofer you are thinking of hiring with Trading Standards for any 'past problems' they know of, before hiring anyone.
Is Kate that wrecked again?? Oh bless lol!!
try handyman

Who ya gonna call?? Moss Busters!

Id look for handyman in your local paper, they may be quite a bit cheaper than someone in the Yellow Pages.
Good luck!xx
get a shotgun.
bout time someone did something with her.
I know this one. The company that were on Rogue Traders.
Look in the yellow pages under roofing contractors, as well as tiling etc they also maintain them as well. Or hire a Pressure Washer they are good for removing moss from roofs.
Saw a programme on BBC about rogue traders, apparently you do more harm to the roof by having it removed. !!!
local handyman or painter should do it after they've cleaned it have them install a copper wire on the ridge it will keep your roof clean in the future
anywhere that hires out buffing machines carpet cleaners.mabe they do power hosing on roofs or you could do it yourself
you need a professional roofer as it needs to be pressure washed from the top down but you may find the tiles in poor condition underneath depending on the amount of moss if its only thin then it should be ok and once removed a anti moss solution should be sprayed on to stop it returning . if the moss is a thick layer you may need a lot of work depending on the roof material
