I have a cedar chest I got back in the 80s. I've lost the key to it. How can I pick the lock?

well really it deppends on what kind of lock it is -- also u could get a lock pick :)
Well a hairpin bent on the end is famous for all kinds of locks and might work. You can also take it to a locksmith and have him open it and make a key. He might actually have a key that will fit. These are pretty simple locks and weren't made to keep thieves out. Good luck
