My Maytag washer will not agitate?

Call the repair clinic they have a 800# you can talk to the repair guy for free help and advise.They also,have a diagram and troubleshooting page that might help you out.
I bet the MayTag man can fix it! he fixes everything
It's always the belt!
buy a new washer. it will cost you almost the same to fix it.
and you will have a new washer. your electric company may even give you a rebate because the new machines use less electricity. and you won't be agitated any more. pun intended
my daughter had to buy a new washer not Maytag this time ,old washer(Maytag) was only 2 1/2 years old.remove very bottom front panel, held by two fasteners. before checking turn washer on and observe in the rear back of motor if water is leaking on floor and over belt area, and also if belt is running on motor and pump. if it is and belt is broken. plan on a new washer it would cost as much to fix and Maytag will not help.
