I have a wasp nest in an overflow pipe coming from the attic how can I get rid of it?

Hold the Ball valve down until the overflow works, every one is having floods lately, why leave out your wasps.
Get in touch with the local enviromental office. They will remove it for free
burn them out or send for the wasp man.
Burn them out with a small blowtorch or use a very strong insect killer spray,but only do it at night when they aren't active,or they will sting like mad,not like a bee,they will keep on stinging,I know. ouch

Whatever you do should be done at night, when they all return to their nest. Go to your local garden centre and get some powder, the one for bees nests etc. sprinkle 2 teaspoons into the nest after dark. We had the same and that got rid of them.
They don't come out after dark.
yellow pages, call and exterminator, do not attempt burning or trying to remove it yourslelf, you do not want to get stung by thousands of bees.
your local garden centre will sell a wasp nest destroyer made by "raid". its an aerosol, wait till dusk when they are all in the nest and soak the whole nest. spray what you can get to spray in the entrance if you can. by morning they will all be dead.
Phone the local council. They have a specialist. Its what you pay your Council Tax for!
You can buy a wasp and hornet killer that shoots a straight shot 10 to 15 feet. Do it at night with a flashlight. Spray, turn the light out and run.
If you're brave enough, a shop vac works pretty good too. They just think it's a strong wind.
