How Do I remove a stripped vaccum stopper on my outside water faucet?

Question:I have a metal vaccum stopper on my outdoor faucet and I do not know how to remove it for the screw is stripped. I have drilled out the screw and it still wont budge. I have tried lubricating it but it won't work.

Shut off water supply to faucet and replace the whole thing. Even if you get the stopper off, the threads will most likely be stripped .
