How do I find a hole in an inflatable mattress? Cannot feel or hear anything.?

Question:It deflates rapidly yet there doesn't seem to be any discernable leak. It's electric blow up so I can't dunk it in a swimming pool.

Answers:
mix a strong concentration of dish soap and water in a spray bottle and spray it. Try along the seams first, they seem to be the first place they leak. Put a towel over the electric motor when you get to that end. Wherever you see bubbles, there's your leak!

put your face very close (or your hand) and listen very intently... if that doesn't work, put it in water piece by piece and check for air bubbles... if you don't want to drown it, spray a mist of water from a water spray bottle.
You can mop soapy water on it with a cloth a section at a time, working carefully around the electric pump. Unplug it first of course.
put it into water then inflate it. you will see bubbles from the hole.
Dip in a tank little inflated and press. You can see the bubble coming out of the hole. If the mattress can not be dipped in the tank , apply a little bit of soap water with a brush all over and press. you can see the bubbles coming out of it.
We had to take the plug out and spit on it. That got it to seal.

We were camping. That's a fine time to have a problem with a air mattress. Fix the mattress or sleep on rocks!. We fixed the mattress.

Anyway, if you don't think it's in the openings, try soap and water in a spray bottle. That should find a small leak in the mattress.
If the leak is through an opening, the soapy water might give the what you need to seal it. Remove plug, spray it and put it back.
fill a bath with water put in the matress where the bubbles come out is where your leek is mark the hole with a pen then apply a patch
use a brush and a little water, spread it out the hole will and should bubble, then use a water bed repair kit to fix
Listen around the pump. I suspect the check valve at the pump fitting is not sealing and is bleeding back thru the pump.
