How do I fill in the lines where I had to replace a piece of linoleum?

Question:How do I fill in the lines where I had to replace a piece of linoleum? I have a huge stain on my floor and cannot get it out so I cut the stained area out and replaced it with another piece. I can't seem to find anything that will look like the simulated grout lines that will cover the cut area.

Depending on the color etc. of what you have----
This is what I did; I took a piece of the vinyl tile and shaved it very fine and mixed it with glue and filled in the lines then sanded it. It isn*t perfect but is certainly better than before
I*ve also heard you can do this with cork and sawdust mixed with coloring agents (food coloring etc?). Hope this gives you some idea of what you are looking for.

If you have another piece of the linoleum try this on it first.

Take an iron and some tin foil and work slowly with just enough heat to melt both pieces together. If vinyl-asbestos then it might take a soldering iron to do it just keep checking and do small patches at a time always.
