Dishwasher programme won't advance?
Question:When we put the dishwasher on the programme won't advance, we have to click the dial round to get it to the next stage. Also, water doesn't seem to be getting hot enough. Please can anyone give an idea of what might be wrong?
It was re installed a few weeks ago after moving house.

Check your outlet hose is at the correct height, if its too low the water will run out while its trying to fill. if that's not the problem, it could be the heater or thermostat, and unless you've the correct testing equipment, you will be unable to test it. so get an engineer round.
Most newer dishwashers delay the timer movement while it heats the water using the same element it dries the dishes with. It could be a bad element, temp. sensor, or just a wire that came off during install.
