Question:Why does the screeching sound coming from my fan motor stop when more freon is added to the system?

Answers:
shouldnt have any thing to do with your fan motor screeching...the freon is in a closed system and your fan only blows oe pulls air through the coils that contain the freon...the screeching noise your fan motor is making is usually a sign that the bearings in the motor itself is going bad

I agree with wwwstat, its in your blower motor
