Has anyone had CraneBoard siding installed?

Question:I had someone come out and quote it today. It costs almost 4 times more than the same product from another manufacturer. ($200 and $750 a square). I thought maybe the installer was trying to rip me off. Anyone have it installed want to tell me how much they paid for it? Thanks.

Answers:
CraneBoard is a solid core insulated siding. It is more difficult to install, mainly due to the fact that it is thicker and requires an experienced carpenter as well as siding installer to fur out the window and door openings to make them look good.
It is a very good siding for insulating and adding value to your home. The warranty is transferrable if you sell the house. Most building material products don't have that type of warranty.
