Where can I find hinged mounting pins for my Kenmore sewing machine?
Question:I have a swing-down Kenmore/Sears machine, cabinet-mounted, model 158.1301. I have a cabinet that needs the hinge pins for it, model number 566.107. Sears does not carry the parts anymore. I have searched a lot and found nihl. Anyone that can help me out is appreciated.

start looking in thrift stores (Goodwill, etc.) or on craigslist.com for your area and I'll bet you can find a cheap cabinet that has what your looking for.

look in your phone book for sewing machine repair shops - a lot of these older shop will have parts still floating around in thier back rooms - you can also try ebay
I got some hard to find parts for my older model sewing machine a while back at http://www.sewshop.com
if you cannot find the part on their site then email them - they can get parts not listed too. That is what they did for me - mine is a Singer.
PartsOnline have an enormous amount of inventory.
You should check their website.
Maybe it's ready to retire. How old is it?
