Installing new air conditioning in the house?
Question:We saw one house, 3 years old and it is beautiful. However, it does not have central heat and air-conditioning. How much does it usually cost to install this (or is it even possible?)
Thanks
Answers:
Usually the cost will be somewhere around 1500 to 2500 per ton...the tons you need is based on sq ft and a heat/cool analysis
Anything is possible as long as you have money, depends on size of unit you will need which depends on square footage and other heat load factors, call some local companies for a quote on installation.
You could check out www.whocando.com.au just put in the auction description the house size and what not and you will get bids, which should give you a good idea and you'll get the work done easily
After quoting people on installations of A/C systems for many years I can tell you that it needs an examination by qualified professionals to get it right.
You have to decide if you want the whole house served or just parts of it. This alone can shave thousands off the install.
Anywhere from 4000 to 20000, hows that for being vague?
Good Luck
