Boiler distance from oil tank?


Question:how far should my 275 gallon home heating oil tank be from my boiler

Answers:
You should have enough room to walk between them.

It might be safer to have a fireproof wall between them, but I've seen tanks and furnaces in the same room. I've also seen them 50' apart. Most people don't like the smell of diesel in the home, others don't like the sight of the tank in the yard.
