Any idea what a central air conditioner would cost for small 600sf condo?
Question:I have a small 600 sf condo that I rent out and my renters are being baked... Does anyone have any idea what central air might cost for a small unit? I have a window unit but that seems to be doing nothing.

There are too many variables to give you a good quote with just this information. Some questions that need to be answered are;
1. is there a central heat unit in the condo at this time with vents into every room
2. what is the heat load of the condo...people, windows etc
3. was there ever a central air in the condo...
4. power availability to the outside condenser in place?
not knowing the answers to the above make it difficult but on the high side would say approx 5 thousand for a 1.5 ton unit
You can have a central unit installed for around 5.400 or you can upgrade to a larger BTU window unit
