My American BIC ballpens stopped running...help me in Germany!?
Question:Good morning!
I am writing from Germany. I got my friends sent me "BIC round stic med/moy USA" ballpens, but they are so precious to me that they weren't used. 2 years later they are dried out. What chemical can I use to dilute the ink again?
It's not easy to get good ballpens in Germany, they like inkpens and they write soooo slowly. So, please help!

Are you sure they are dried out? They usually have a coating on the ball that must be removed during the first use. It may have dried out. Try a little warm water on the ball and rub on paper a few times.
I don't know of any way to save them.
try heating up the pen tip
let them rest a little(J/K)=). hold the tip of the pen at the end of a lighter flame for about 3 seconds, fan it, then give it a shot. you might have to repeat process.
try dipping the tip in a little rubbing alcohol. it may loosen up any dried ink on the tip. i dunno is the inside really dries up, as much as it flows away from the tip during storage. tap the point on some paper to get the ink flowing back down towards the tip.
