Help with outdoor faucet?

Question:Our outdoor faucet is not feeding water. I have check through the house and can not find a shut off valve. It looks like the pipe for this faucet is going toward the dish washer, which we have someone install. By any chance, would they turn off a valve behind the dish wash, when they install it?

Answers:
THAT IS MOST LIKELY WHAT HAS HAPPENED, I WOULD CALL THE PLACE THAT PUT IN YOUR DISH WASHER AND ASK THE INSTALLER, HE WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM OR WILL COME BACK OUT AND TURN IT BACK ON FOR YOU.GOOD LUCK

They probably used the outlet to feed the dishwasher instead of putting a splitter valve to allow the water to continue flowing .

First let me say..Anything is possible. But usually a shut off valve needs to be accessable in order to be of any use. What type of material are your pipes made of? Galvanized steel, copper, pvc... etc. And are there two types of pipes being used? Like galvanized and copper, or is the water line being used as a ground for the house wiring...
Any of these scenarios can cause corrosion in your pipes. OR it could be that rust and/or calcium has built up in your pipes. To fix it.disconnect the pipe and check it, replace the pipes if necessary and if you find galvanized and copper connected, be sure to use connectors that prevent galvanic corrosion.
As for the dishwasher water supply, they are traditionally supplied from the hot water of the kitchen sink, usually there are two lines from the valve one to the sink and one to the dishwasher. Do you have these two lines under your sink?
They definitely may have heres a little story my father in law has rental property's in one of his houses, he put in a brand new heat pump...These people moved in and decided they wanted a satalite dish when the man put it in he drilled thru the lines of the heat pump... renters had to pay for all!!! Any how hon there should be a pressure switch on your well if u have one or it may be a breaker too.try that hope i helped and if the dishwasher installers done it they would definitely pay for my troubles good luck
what dave s said. was their a dishwasher there before or was it a new installation?
If there is a shutoff valve behind the dishwasher the installer could have mistaken it for the water supply for the dishwasher you could always pull out the dishwasher and check. It should just be two or so screws holding it to the cabnet just unscrew and carefully pull back.
