How do I remove a baldwin front door lock?

Question:

Answers:
If it's a mortise lock (set in a rectangular pocket in the door's edge), remove the inside knob/lever with an allen wrench. Remove inside escutcheon plate. If a thumlatch outside, remove split inside spindle by moving hooked half about 45 degrees then sliding out. Remove door thunblatch, or slide outside knob/lever with spindle out the front. Remove door edge cover plate rto reveal mounting screws. loosen set screw under plate then screw key cylinder out. Remove mounting screws and slide lock bodt out of the door.

I'ts all pretty straightforward except for finding the cylinder set screws. They are under the coverplate on the EDGE of the door. If the cylinder still doesn't wanrt to screw out, loosen the screws that mount the lockbody into the door to remove any bind. You can also insert the key partway to use as a wrecch, but be careful- it's only brass and will break easily if foced.

The only thing I would add to the perfect answer you already have is that if you intend to reuse the lock make careful note of the way it comes apart. The square drive especially can be inserted either way but it will only work correctly one way.
