How do your get nail glue off a computer desk?

Question:the desk is wood.

Answers:
Don't use chemicals- Goo Gone, acetone, not even rubbing alcohol. They will damage the finish of the wood. Try using a fine grit nail file to sand down the spot, then use a nail polishing board (like you'd use to buff your nails to a shine-not nail polish!) to bring the gloss back. If you try to chip it off the glue will bring the poylurethane varnish up along with it, leaving a hole in the finish.

try goo gone... but you have to rub it lightly or you can damage the wood color
Nail polish remover with acetone in it. Be careful as it may mar the wood finish. You could also try chipping it off with a flat metal scraper.
either acetone to melt it or a razor blade to scrape it. Goo gone or goof off will probaly work as well.. Either way you run the risk of damaging the wood or the finish if not very careful.. If the wood is smooth with a good finish, I would recommend the very low angle approach with the razor scraper or single edge razor blade.. The acetone will eat the polyurethane finish.
I've never heard of nail glue, perhaps you mean Liquid Nails adhesive. Most tube adhesives are polyurethane based and can't be dissolved once cured. So you are looking at mechanical removal, use a sharp scraper and scrape it off, carefully so as not to damage the desk. Probably will need to sand and add a layer of finish though. Use oil based polyurethane finish, it is tough enough for a desk top.
