How long can you store an Intex pool?

Question:After using it for one summer and then storing it in a garage,how long will it last without being used again. I mean will it start to rot or get moldy or anything?

Answers:
I don't take ours down. I drain most the water, cover it for the winter then when I'm ready to open it, I take it apart, lay it across the trampoline or yard, clean it with the hose and put it back together. Works great. This is the 4th year we've had it.
