We just purchased a 12' 48" above ground pool.?

Question:We started leveling the ground and getting ready to install the pool, when someone mentioned zoning laws and needing a permit to put the pool up. I live in Upstate New York, does anyone know anything about this?

Answers:
I am sure you need a building permit from your local code enforcement officer. We have to have one no matter what we plan on doing and we also live in NYS. Remember there is also the new pool alarm ordinance. Any newly installed pool also needs to have a pool alarm

make a quick call to ur zoning commisioner...any answers will be given there or will direct to the right person..
