Question:I am putting new siding on my house and was wondering if I needed to put the siding or soffit up first or if it even matters. Also, is there such thing as pre-formed fascia? I don't have anything to form the fascia. Any ideas?

Soffit should be done first.
Yes, there is pre-formed fasica, available at local hardware stores like lowes, home depot, etc. The cost is a little on the steep side, but makes the job much easier in the long run if you are doing it yourself.
When are house was done, they did soffits first then the siding. The edges where there two meet came out really good but I don't know if that helps you.
