I want to replace my tub surround. How do I do that?

Question:I need to know how to make the holes for faucet and handles etc. on the new tub surround.

Answers:
I installed my own all by myself. I measured three times and cut once. I cut my holes with a razor knife type box cutter. I made the holes an inch larger in diameter than the pipes so there was a bit of allowance. The faucet and handle plates cover the holes. A trick to measure: coat the end stumps where the faucet and handles were with colored chalk and held the panel up against it and transferred the mark. It wasn't exact, but I was able to use that with the measuring to get very accurate holes! Good luck and take your time!

Hole saws work well and they are relatively inexpensive, I'm assuming your surround is fiberglass.
