Uniflame gas grill regulator freezing up?

Question:I havent used this yet. When i tried to, the regulator part frosted over. I shut it off when i saw the frost. It was on probably 3 minutes before i noticed the frost. I dont believe it did any heating up. The burners did light, though. It's a 36,000 btu from Walmart. I don't smell gas so am hoping it doesn't leak. Got it 2 months ago and havent dared try it again. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Answers:
When compressed gasses expand, they give up heat...it's normal

"frost" is really the gas leaking--- take it back and get a new one. harder to repair than replace if it's the clamped-hose regulator.
Take it back. It never worked properly. Or use it and wear body armor.
