Any opinions on Air Repair Heating & Air Cond in Stockbridge, GA?

Question:have a bryant central a/c. and the fan works, but the compressor won,t come on. I have checked fuses, and replaced start&run capacitors, and still unit won't come on!

Answers:
you should check the compressor wires make sure that they are all connected, you should have 3 wires label them and disconnect from compressor, make sure that the electricity is off,use an ohmmeter and touch one compressor terminal to the other, you should have a reading on all three wires if you do the wires are okay, than touch one terminal of the compressor to one end of ohmmeter and the other end to the cabinet or ground, do this for all three terminals if you get a reading on one terminal than the compressor is grounded, which mean that you need another compressor.make sure that your wires are tight on compressor.get a book library on ac and you will be able to see who a compressor is wired internally, good luck.
