For 2 months my dryer won't dry, taking others advise I already replaced the burner and thermostat, still same

Question:I fully dissassembled the dryer, the vent is not an issue, I replaced the burner assembly and it still does the same thing, the heat shuts off 10 seconds after a click is heard signalling the pilot light has been hit with gas. I watch my gas meter and the time the meter spins corresponds with the clicking on and then off 10 seconds later. Also replaced the thermostat. I have to turn the dryer on 3 times before a load will be dry. Any other possible culprits?

Answers:
It is most likely solenoids are dropping out of the gas valve. if the burners light then go out that is probably what is wrong. the valves have magnets in them and they become weak over time and wont hold the gas valve open. also, go to this web site for repair help and parts . i have used them before and their OK.

Very simple for the handy - check with

your draft is plugged or the draft inducing fan is not working. this is safety equipment on gas. if the controls do not sense that there is a draft on the exhuast for the heat chamber the fuel valve will shut off to prevent carbon monixde poisioning
