How do I preserve a wax candle?

Question:I have a wax candle that is made into a Snoopy, I have had forever! & I don't want it to get ruined. It already has a some of the black of his ears rubed off, but other than that it is in pretty good condition. Thank you.

Answers:
The best way to preserve a colored wax candle is to ensure that it is kept out of direct sunlight as sunlight will eventually cause the dye colors to fade or even change.

It sounds like you’d like to continue displaying it—there’s two easy options:

1.You can put it in a glass showcase of its own
2.You could find a clear plastic box to keep it in—cheaper!

If you’d like to put it away—you’d want to wrap it in non colored tissue to prevent it from getting scuffed up or banged around—and you could keep it in a box in a cool, dark place.

Wrap it in foil and put it in the freezer.
Put it in a preheated 350 degree oven for about an hour...
wrap it in saran wrap - aluminum foil can discolor it. Then freeze it. Kept in the freezer - it will last forever.
