How do I get my mail.?
Question:It's been three days I haven't got my mail because somehow the mail box got tipped over. I live in an appartment. So it's not like I can buy a new one and put it up. I've called the manager and he said he is getting some one to fix it, and it could take a week.
Now how do I get my mail, in the mean time?

Call your local post office and let them know the problem. They can probably let you pick it up everyday until you get the mail box back. We put up a nice cedar mailbox on a cedar post out on the parkway for our mail last summer and two weeks ago, some one drove by in a pickup truck and wacked it hard with a baseball bat! It's pretty tweeked, but my husband was able to sort of bed it back so the door will open and shut again. How rude, huh?!!
if it tipped over, pick it up and open it. also, put a stop on your mail and you can pick it up at the post office
Can't the old box be leaned against something? Anyone in neighborhood (that you trust) your mail can go to temporarily? Can't you meet the mail man/maam (with your ID) when they are delivering the mail - - set outside on Saturday & wait for him/her?
