I need details on whirlpool gas dryer?
Question:a friend of mine got one from America we're in Ireland the burner does not come on to dry the cloths. I've bypassed the thermostats and touching the wires 1 out of 8 times the burner comes on and stays on while I keep the wires together, let them go and it's gone again. It's powered by a 110 transformer and it was working fine for about tree months any idea what could be the problem.

Power in the states is 60 hz .power in UK is 50hz. sounds like you fried the electronics.
