What are the best indoor plants?
Question:I prefer indoor plants with lots of leaves as oppose to flowers. The ones that does not grow tall fast.
Answers:
I think that ferns are the best for indoors. they do not grow up but they fill out. Cacti are also good for indoors, that is if you have no children or animals. I also have something called a spider plant and a running dew(some call it a running jew). They are more hanging plants, but they like little sunlight.
ever try a cactus? they pretty cool actually:)
I'm a big fan of spider plants. They require very little direct light, and can actually thrive as an indoor plant with almost no effort from me. I mostly garden outside, but spider plants are the one thing I won't kill indoors.
Here's a link with lots of information about spider plants:

Go to the nurseries, you have so many choices and they usually separate the indoors from the outdoors. most plants will not grow fast in pots but depend on the size of the pots. Look at magazines you will get mental picture how the plants looks like before you go to the nurseries.
That is what I used to do.
