Fault line in my house?!?


Question:Well, I just discovered an unusual long crack in my house. It stretches from the end of the house, through the tiles and into the garage cement. It is not moving diagnally through the house. Could this be a sign of an upcoming earthquake or is this actually a fault line? I live in Southern California, btw.

I dont think so. your house is probably just settling. i live in socal too. there was an earthquake in yorba linda like 3 days ago. it was scary.
